How to Set Up and Take Down Your Gravity Stunt Airbag

Whether you’re using the Pluto, Lunar, or Mercury Lander, setting up and taking down your Gravity Stunt Systems airbag is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a safe and smooth experience every time.

Setup

Step 1: Preparing Your Setup Location

For safety and performance, select a flat, open surface. Make sure it’s free of sharp objects, rocks, or debris that could damage the airbag. Suitable locations might include a yard, open field, or event space.

Step 2: Moving the Airbag into Position

These airbags are built to withstand impact, so they’re a bit heavy. Depending on the model, you’ll need 2-3 people to help move it. For easier handling, consider using a hand truck, dolly, or heavy-duty wagon.

Step 3: Positioning and Unrolling the Airbag

Carefully With the airbag in place, unroll it gently so the landing side is facing up. Be sure it’s positioned exactly where you want it, with the landing zone aligned to your jump setup. Before inflating, confirm that the landing zone and run-out area are aligned with your ramp or jump to ensure the best experience.

Step 4: Attaching the Blower and Inflating

Attach the blower to the air intake, plug it into a grounded outlet, and turn it on. The airbag should inflate within a few minutes. Monitor the inflation process and watch as the airbag reaches full size. For different activities, you may want to adjust the air pressure. For higher jumps, keep the airbag firm; for lower jumps, reduce pressure slightly for a softer landing.

Step 5: Securing the Airbag

In windy conditions or on uneven ground, secure your airbag with sandbags or stakes through the anchor points to keep it stable during use.

Stunt Airbag Deflating for Storage

Step 1: Deflating the Airbag

When you’re finished for the day, turn off the blower and open any air release valves to deflate the airbag. Allow a few minutes for it to fully deflate.

Step 2: Folding the Airbag

Once deflated, fold the airbag neatly. Depending on its size, you can fold it in half or thirds before rolling it compactly.

Step 3: Moving and Storage

Use a hand truck or dolly to move the folded airbag to its storage location. Store it in a dry, clean area to keep it in top condition for your next session.
